My name is Kimberly. I am a mother of four and a grandmother of nine. I have been married to a really wonderful fellow for 39 years now.
I live in a cabin on beautiful Lake Superior in Ontario woods..
We enjoy sharing our neck of the woods with Black Bears, Moose, Wolves, Bobcats and more.
I enjoy passing my days decorating, sewing a bit, crafting a bit, surfing Pinterest, blogging, and shopping for vintage treasures at the thrift shops!
I love collecting vintage linens, porcelain birds and finding items I can use for re-purposing.
I’m a Christian who believes in the power of prayer and strives to live a life that’s pleasing to the Lord. Please note I did say ‘strives.’
I also read and collect old books and British DVDs.
My husband and I have traveled and worked in the Yukon Territories and Alaska many times. I’ve often shared our experiences while there and photos of the mountains, lakes, and wildlife.
I began blogging in the Spring of 2011 and have not regretted a moment of it. I have connected with so many wonderful ladies who I now consider friends .
Now I look forward to visiting your blogs, learning a bit about your life and interest! And I want to welcome you to visit mine!

I guess you're right! I didn't know that you like and collect British DVD's. Do you like anything in particular? I like watching the Brit-Coms on PBS on the week ends… Right now, I'm enjoying an oldie again… “Goode Neighbors” and a new one…”Miranda”Hilarious stuff! (but i have to stay up late to watch …loved this and the pictures, especially the vintage table cloths. Pat!
