This is the inspiration for my latest project.
Isn’t it pretty?
This is what I have done so far.
I’m at the Lodge and didn’t bring all of my fabrics,
so I am limited in my choices.
Since I am only making it to serve as a couch
blanket, so I think I have enough for that.
This is the view out the front window at the Lodge.
It is another dreary day here again.
We have already had snow and more is on the way.
Now maybe you can understand why I am doing so much sewing.
It’s my therapy!!
I’ll keep you posted on the progress of the quilt.
Happy Monday
Morning Kimberly, looks like the view out my window, no end to winter……..Love the colors of your quilt your making, so pretty…… Happy Sewing, Francine.

The inspiration quilt is beautiful, and so is your own. I don't know where I would be in winter without the lap quilts my sister has made me.

You need the beautiful quilt colors to offset the cloudy days. I love the inspiration quilt, so pretty. It was a nice weekend, but we'll be having some gloomy days with rain this week. Maybe I'll get some blog reading done. There's lots of pretty things to look at here in blogland!

Well, are you working hard or hardly working? I call it cozy, not dreary but then it was 73 here today and my grass need mowing! LOL! It's always something but Spring and Summer are a double workload for me so maybe that's why the longer Winter sticks around the less I have to do! LOL!

That scene is somewhat depressing. The good news is that once it starts to go, it'll go fast. I can definitely see the need to stay busy and floral fabrics would be a great antidote for all that white.
