I bet when you read my title, ‘Social Media Marketing for Dummies’ you thought that you were going to get some wonderful advice on how to promote you blogs world wide, didn’t you?
Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you.
But I think all of you who have been my long time and loyal (thank you) followers know that I’m the last person to offer much advice about Social Media Marketing!
Just to prove to you that I’m no dummy, I’m sharing with you my most recent book purchase about Social Media Marketing.
I bought this volume in Whitehorse at the Fireweed Bookstore for 30 percent off.
See, I’m pretty smart after all…
I want you to know that when I become an expert in this field I will be more than happy to share all of my vast knowledge with you, my friends!
Did I hear a few yawns out there?
Not that I think any of you are dummies.
Oh no, no, no.
Without your help I wouldn’t know half of the stuff about blogging that I know now.
Well, I’m off to bed now.
I’m going to need my rest if I’m going to get through all 770 pages of this book!
Please tell me first if you have ever purchased a book for dummies?

No. I've not ever purchased a “Book for Dummies”…I do however subscribe to “internet for dummies” …I think it's called “Google” or something like that! Ha! It sounds absolutely dull. On the other hand– those books must be full of good info–they've been around a long time, and they have one on just about every topic you can dream up! I wonder if they are in KA-HOOTS with Google. 😉 Pat

Nope, never purchased! But I'm crafty, you see I've checked them out from the Library!! Yep, had to enlighten myself of a few subjects!! Now this addition I may have to go check out SOON! I sure need help in the blogging world!! Better yet, you read and tell me all I need to know,LOL!! Yes, I'm also lazy!

No not an actual book with that title, BUT! I HAVE watched more tutorials, and “how to” videos then you can imagine. Does that count? lol If I could figure out how to work the curser on this new lap top I'd be the happiest gal around! lol Happy reading! Enjoy your day!

No, I've never bought such a book but I admit I have looked through the odd one in stores to find answers to questions. 🙂 I could probably use one though, if it helps with blogger and blogging problems! I love the photo of you. You are so pretty. Have a great day!

I got one for Christmas a year after I started blogging. Blogging for Dummies. I still haven't read it all, maybe I should? haha.

I looked at ” Windows for Dummies” many years ago, but I really think a Dummy wrote it, not easy to follow, for anyone with absolutely no computer knowledge at all. I'm waiting for some wise words from you out of those 700 pages!!! Cheers, Jean.

Haha. Yeah, I've purchased lots of 'Dummies' books. But there are times I've searched the bookstores for titles like,'…for Complete and Utter Idiots,' which would be much better suited to my experience with FB and Twitter.

P.S. One title I purchased was 'Breeding Dogs for Dummies,' which I thought was a funny title, because why would I want to breed dogs for dummies?????
